What's Going on?

January 2007

Woke up New Years day after playing a great set at the Fenix, played the following Friday at Hells Kitchen and had a blast with the Blackout Kings and Zero Down. Our next Seattle show is Jan 27th at El Corazon which you don't want to miss since we're not going be back in town for a show until May. Then we're off to Yakima and Richland for a couple shows with Zero Down.

When we get back we're heading into the studio to record three new tracks out of the tons we've been working on after that we'll be back in the room working on new material for a new album. We'll have some new stuff up here as well so keep your eyes peeled (no not literally)

Alexi, is on the Outlaw Leather site modeling some of the coolest leather you can find, check it out at http://www.outlawseattle.com/

Go Like Hell - Tales of Drunken Debauchery

A favorite among punk circles for as long as they've existed, GLH were born from a love of the Plasmatics, Motörhead, and Hellacopters. The band is comprised of founding member Luvleggs, Elvis Christ and the hell-raising, Wendy O. Williams–channeling vocalist Alexi Void they're joined by Frank Lee Tragic, and Oil Can Henry.

After selling out their first release "Hell Bent Rock n' Roll" and winning rave reviews and playing with the likes of GBH, The Exploited, Broken Bones, Zeke, Go Like Hell refused to sit back and relax. With the release of their second release Blood, Smut, and Fear their scorched-earth reign continues. Tracks like "See What You've Done" address the bands views on the handling of the war in Iraq, then the band changes directions to tell the tales of addiction, fans that take things just that one step to far, and the sad question of why Wendy O Williams took her own life. Throughout the disc the band brings the feeling and energy of their live show and they stuff every ounce of themselves onto the disc. Already people are talking about "Blood, Smut, and Fear" saying things like "It's about complete disdain for a musical climate that celebrates whiny boys with Peppermint Patty haircuts ....Go Like Hell remembers a day when rock music contained an element of danger...it's the kind of album that makes you want to drink up half of Tennessee, snort up half of Peru, and drive way too fast, stereo blasting all the way, while getting a hummer from that crazy bitch who slashed your buddy's tires last week. What more could you ask for?

Indeed, what more? How about incessant touring? How about taking it one step furter than necessary. Will there ever be contentment when there are still shoe gazing bands crying in their tea. The empty bottles, sweaty smiles and broken hearts left behind indicate not.

Bands we've been lucky enough to play with

Misfits, Exploited, WASP, Zeke, The Accused, Total Chaos, Broken Bones, GBH, Genitorturers, Resilense, Zero Down, Midnight Idols, Bristle, The Fucking Chachi's, The Dwarves, Shocker, Murdock, Malignant, Jackmove, Poison Idea, Rabid Dogs, Black Halos, Faster Pussycat, Dragstrip Riot, Undisputed Heavyweight Champions, Ironhead...and too many more to list
